PERSONAL DATA PROCESSING INFORMATION

TreeBlock S.R.L.(hereafter TreeBlock) recognizes the importance of respecting the protection of its users' personal data. For this reason, it is committed to respecting the provisions of Reg. EU (679/2016) (GDPR, available at the following address: https://www.garanteprivacy.it/il-testo-del-regolamento), as well as Legislative Decree 196/2003 (Privacy Code), as integrated by Legislative Decree 101/2018.

This information, issued pursuant to Article 13 of the GDPR, describes the processing, based on criteria of lawfulness, fairness, and transparency, of personal data provided by individual users or acquired during the use and consultation of the site (both desktop and mobile versions):https://www.treeblock.it

TreeBlock processes data collected during site navigation, in the ways and on the basis of the assumptions that will be explained below, to provide an efficient and secure website, to allow contact with users visiting the site, to develop its activity in relation to the services provided and in general for the achievement of its corporate object or the fulfillment of legal obligations. The collection and use of data will occur, where necessary, after the user's expressed consent, except for exceptions where data processing may occur in accordance with different legal bases that will be explained below.

NOTE: This information does not concern other sites, pages, or online services accessible via hyperlinks possibly published on the site but referring to resources outside the TreeBlock domain. Regarding the processing of personal data performed by the managers of the Social Media platforms used by TreeBlock, please refer to the information provided by these platforms through their respective privacy policies. TreeBlock processes the personal data provided by the users through the pages of the Social Media platforms used by it, exclusively to manage interactions with the users (comments, public posts, etc.) and in compliance with the applicable regulations.

DEFINITIONS:

  • Personal data: any information relating to an identified or identifiable natural person (“data subject”).
  • Processing: any operation or set of operations which is performed on personal data or on sets of personal data, whether or not by automated means, such as collection, recording, organization, structuring, storage, adaptation or alteration, retrieval, consultation, use, disclosure by transmission, dissemination or otherwise making available, alignment or combination, restriction, erasure or destruction.
  • Controller: the natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which, alone or jointly with others, determines the purposes and means of the processing of personal data.
  • Processor: a natural or legal person, public authority, agency or other body which processes personal data on behalf of the controller.

WHO IS THE CONTROLLER?

The Data Controller (hereinafter, "the Controller") is TreeBlock S.R.L. (VAT no. 13085040965), in the person of GRBOVIC STEFAN with registered office at Via Giotto, 3 20145 (MI). To request any information or clarification on the processing of personal data provided by this information, as well as to exercise the rights mentioned in point 6) that follows, you can use the following methods:

WHAT DATA IS COLLECTED?

TreeBlock may acquire user information in the following ways: DATA COMMUNICATED BY THE USER In this category of data are included:

  • The information that the user provides using the site (name, surname, contact details, etc...), to send contact requests by filling out the form (digital module) present on the site (or by contacting the Controller using the contact details on the site)
  • Any further personal data that the user shares with TreeBlock as part of a contact initiated by the user themselves.

NAVIGATION DATA

The computer systems and software procedures used to operate websites acquire, during their normal operation, some personal data whose transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols (such as IP addresses or the domain names of the devices used by users who connect to the Sites, type of browser and operating system used, information on the pages visited by users within the site, access time, and in general parameters relating to the user's operating system and computer environment). The processing of such data is necessary to ensure the correct operation, the best enjoyment, and the implementation of the website, as well as to monitor and guarantee security, in order to improve and protect the browsing experience.

FOR WHAT PURPOSES ARE THE COLLECTED DATA PROCESSED?

Website traffic analysis for the purpose of evaluating its efficiency and improving TREEBLOCK’s website. With the user’s prior consent, TREEBLOCK analyzes website traffic data in order to assess its efficiency (e.g., generating reports on website activities and user behavior, verifying how often users visit the website, how the website is reached, and which pages are most frequently visited, etc.), through the Google Analytics service, in the manner specified in the “COOKIES” section below.

The data mentioned above may be processed for the following purposes:

  • To contact the user in order to provide the information requested by the same, through any channel, providing adequate and specific feedback. In the case of contact details provided for each request for information and contact, the voluntary and explicit provision of such data corresponds to providing the relevant consent for TreeBlock to use such data to respond to the requests received and to contact the user (Art. 6 let. A) GDPR). The personal data thus collected will therefore be processed and stored for the time strictly necessary to respond to the requests and for the development of the contact and for a maximum period of 6 months from the last interaction with the user. After this period of time, the personal data acquired will be deleted from all databases, except for the occurrence of further legitimate reasons for processing in relation to different purposes that would emerge during this period, subject to the user's consent, where necessary.
  • To monitor the configuration of the site and ensure its security, preventing any abuses and computer fraud also in protection of the users themselves. In this case, the processing of data collected during the navigation of the site, in aggregated and anonymous form, for this purpose, corresponds to a legitimate interest of TreeBlock (Art. 6 let. f) GDPR).

TO WHOM WILL THE COLLECTED DATA BE COMMUNICATED?

In relation to the purposes indicated above, personal data may be communicated to the following subjects:

  • Subjects who may come to know the data such as appointees or Processors of TreeBlock (staff of the administrative, commercial, technical, production, or IT office) for instrumental and/or connected activities to the provision of the information requested by the user, as well as to ensure the correct functioning of the site.
  • Administrative/judicial authorities for the needs of protection of rights or ascertainment/prevention of illicit activities or in case of explicit request by the aforementioned Authorities.

HOW IS THE SECURITY OF THE COLLECTED DATA GUARANTEED?

TreeBlock processes and stores the data in databases located in the EU using both telematic and analog methods, adopting every appropriate measure of computer, physical, logical, and organizational security to prevent any violation of the rights of users conferred or legitimately acquired through the site. TreeBlock regularly tests, verifies, and evaluates the effectiveness of security measures, in order to ensure continuous improvement in the security of the treatments.

WILL THE COLLECTED DATA BE TRANSFERRED ABROAD?

The personal data of users will be processed by the Data Controller within the territory of the European Union. Should it be necessary for technical and/or operational reasons to make use of subjects located outside the European Union, the processing will be regulated in accordance with the provisions of Chapter V of the GDPR and authorized based on specific decisions of the European Union. In no case will the collected data be subject to dissemination.

DATA SUBJECT'S RIGHTS

The data subject/user has the following rights, exercisable by contacting using the methods indicated in point 1) that precedes:

  • Ask the Controller to:
  • Access personal data being processed and related information: if the data subject wishes, the Controller will provide a copy of all personal data in their possession;
  • Rectify inaccurate data or complete incomplete data;
  • Request that the Controller obtain personal data for the purpose of transmitting them to another Controller, in the cases provided for by Art. 20 of the GDPR (i.e., right to data portability).
  • Erase personal data (occurring under one of the conditions indicated in Art. 17, paragraph 1 of the GDPR and in compliance with the exceptions provided in paragraph 3 of the same article);
  • Limit the processing of personal data (upon the occurrence of one of the hypotheses indicated in Art. 18, paragraph 1 of the GDPR);
  • The interested user may also object to the processing of personal data as provided for in Art. 21 of the GDPR.
    The exercise of the right of limitation, opposition, deletion, or revocation of the consent given where data processing requires it, may make it impossible for TreeBlock to provide the service or information requested by the user.

COOKIE

Cookies are text strings that are recorded on the user's terminal or that allow access to information on the user's terminal. The terminals referred to are, for example, a computer, a tablet, a smartphone, or any other device capable of storing information.

Cookies can be used for various needs, such as storing information provided by users during access to the site or preferences expressed during browsing (e.g., keeping track of the consents given by the user in relation to the data collected and conferred) personalizing the user's experience based on the mentioned preferences and keeping them stored for subsequent accesses (e.g., site language setting), analyzing user behavior on the site in order to improve it, etc...

This site uses Technical and Functional Cookies, that is, installed solely for the purpose of "carrying out the transmission of a communication on an electronic communications network, or to the extent strictly necessary for the provider of an information society service explicitly requested by the subscriber or user to provide that service" (see Art. 122, para. 1, of Legislative Decree 196/2003 - so-called Privacy Code). In this case, they are used to ensure the transmission of electronic communication, to allow the correct functioning of the site, to guarantee its security, to keep the preferences set by the user during a previous visit to the site (e.g., site language), making browsing the site more usable.

The installation of these cookies does not require the prior consent of the user.

TREEBLOCK, as previously mentioned, also makes use of cookies to analyze website traffic data in order to assess its efficiency (e.g., generating reports on website activities and user behavior, verifying how often users visit the website, how the website is reached, and which pages are most frequently visited, etc.). As reiterated by the Italian Data Protection Authority in the “Guidelines on Cookies and Other Tracking Tools” adopted on June 10, 2021, this type of cookie is considered equivalent to “technical” cookies, as described above, when used for website optimization purposes to collect aggregated information on the number of users and on how they visit the website for statistical purposes, provided that appropriate tools are adopted to reduce the identifying power of such cookies. Nevertheless, such processing will only take place after the user has expressly given consent through the specific preference management banner available on the website. This website, as noted, with the user’s prior express consent, uses cookies managed through the Google Analytics service (GA4 configuration), through which browsing data are collected solely for the purpose of assessing website traffic, in an aggregated and anonymized form. These data do not allow for the direct identification of the user, but depending on the settings chosen by the user within the Google service, if already registered, some additional information may be visible, it being understood that in this case the user has already provided consent directly to the third party (Google) when registering for the service itself. By default, the site is configured so that no cookie other than technical/functional ones is installed on the user's device upon access (except, for subsequent accesses, the user's prior express consent to the installation of cookies other than technical/functional ones). It should be noted that, as regards the cookies necessary for the correct functioning of the site, its implementation, monitoring, and security, the user's consent is not required. The personal data mentioned above, as previously anticipated, may, where necessary, be transmitted to the police forces and the judicial and administrative authority, in accordance with the law, for the ascertainment and prosecution of crimes, the prevention and safeguarding from threats to public safety, as well as to allow TreeBlock to exercise or protect a contractual right of its own or of third parties before the competent Authorities, as well as for other reasons connected with the protection of the rights and freedoms of others.

In such cases, the conservation of personal data will occur for the entire further period necessary to defend or assert a right or to fulfill any further legal obligations or orders of the Authorities.

As a rule, the period granted for the conservation of data, among those legitimately collected, strictly necessary for the purposes of protecting rights in contractual matters, for the fulfillment of legal obligations in fiscal and accounting matters as well as for the protection of the mentioned rights in judicial proceedings is 10 years.
